Green up Day – Join us

Green Up Day is an important Vermont tradition, and while the official statewide effort is Saturday, May 7Team Scott will be kicking off the annual event on Friday, May 6 and we hope you will join us!
All are invited to join Phil and the team this Friday afternoon as we Green Up Route 2, from Waterbury and Montpelier.
“For 46 years, Green Up Day has provided Vermonters with a great opportunity to pitch in and help keep Vermont clean and welcoming,” said Lt. Gov. Phil Scott. “It may be just one day a year, but Green Up Day represents the commitment we make every day to preserve and protect the beauty of our state.”

Interested in participating? Meet Team Scott on May 6 at 12 p.m. at Dubois Construction at 46 Three Mile Bridge Rd., Middlesex.
From there, we’ll separate into two groups with one beginning in Montpelier, and the other at the Maplewood store in Waterbury. We’ll work our way along Route 2 and meet in the middle! Email tracy@philscott.org with any questions.
We hope to see as many of you as possible. Remember, Green Up Day is about working together to make Vermont a better place!  If you can’t join us at Phil’s Green Up kickoff tomorrow, be sure to pitch in on Saturday.  You can learn more about Green Up Day activities in your area at http://www.greenupvermont.org
